Bone Orchard: Reflections on Life Under Sentence of Death Death row prisoner George T. Wilkerson and criminology professor Robert Johnson explore the psychological experiences unique to those serving death sentences. April 3, 2023 – The men are waiting on all the legal forms to be signed, and entered into the system, and if all goes right… We will be recording the men “Inside Death Row: NC” again, soon. It is my hope these will be done on ZOOM, so the quality of the calls should be better. The guys have stayed in touch and JJ has wrote a piece to be recorded; I have waited because I really want it to be in his voice.
2/27/23 – No New Recordings for now (see Feb. 10th below). I have received texts from “Inside Death Row: NC” and the guys are going to start writing.
February 10th, 2023 – Message from TC – “Use of the phone and tablets. This notice is to inform you that you are not permitted to conduct the following with phones are (sic) Tablets. conducting any kind of interviews, Pod Casts, seminars or to conduct business of any kind. Disciplinary action and suspension a will be implemented. Please be reminder the calls and messages are monitored.”
This situation is being discussed, and the guys are talking to their legal representatives. As soon as this is cleared up, we hope to continue with our recordings “Inside Death Row: NC”.
